Hello, I am a new member and I became a member so I could post in a forum about medical insurance but now that I have signed up I can not seem to find the thread..Sooo...I guess I'll ask here if it's okay. I have medical insurance through the state, Gateway Health Insurance, am I not allowed to become a surrogate because technically it is "state insurance"? And if not, can anyone tell me names of insurance companies that allow surrogacy ?

Say thanks for the support and click on a banner ad!

If it is considered Medicaid and income based, then no, you can not use it for a surrogate pregnancy. Insurances are different region to region and state to state, so your best bet is to research the Marketplace at what is available in your area.
