If you don't have to get your body to match your IM and you are doing a frozen transfer-how long is "getting ready" process w/ meds generally and when would they thaw the embryos?

Every clinic is different so it's hard to say. Some clinics do not use Lupron for an FET and only use birth control pills, estrogen therapy and progesterone therapy, and others will do a regular full protocol even if you're not trying to sync your cycle with the IM/ED.
It can be anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
5 day old embryos are usually thawed the morning of the transfer. With 3 day old embryos, they have the option of thawing and transferring right away, or thawing and letting them grow out to blasts, usually more days. It all depends on their status when frozen and what the IP's and RE want to do! Lots of "what if's"! :)/>
Good luck!
