Please post your situation: donor eggs, IM's age, quality, fresh or frozen

It's my first time with any of this (IVF and surrogacy). Not sure of my IM's age as we did frozen Embi's. The only thing I was told about the Embi's was that one was a 3B and I forgot what they said about the other one. We tranfered 2 and both stuck. Due date is June 24th. Oh and they were created from her eggs and his sperm, so totally theirs.

2. First was fresh and ended ectopic. 2nd cycle was frozen and we got Owen & Austin. Both IMs eggs

First time and so far so good. This is my SIL's baby and she is 41 and unable to carry. We transferred 2 frozen 6day embies with assisted hatching.

Never made it to transfer with my first set of IP's. Cycled 3 times. Each time no embryos made it. Possibly due to IM's age and egg quality.

2nd set of IP's we used donor eggs, proven donor 21 years old. It was a fresh cycle. 2 6day hatchers. Excellent quality. Only one stuck around :)/>

Matched with IFs so they used a proven 24 year old donor... Fresh transfer of a 5 day embie... RE never told me the "grade" but said the embie looked perfect... Transfer was a complete success. The embie ended up splitting and I just delivered identical twin boys in December.

Didn't answer the poll because I haven't achieved pregnancy yet. So far, I've got 2 transfers (2 frozen 5-dayers and 3 frozen 5-dayers) and both were negative. Hoping to change that soon.

First time GS ~ First transfer, fresh
Second time started GS ~ two failed frozen, switched to TS ~ preggo first cycle
Third GS ~ Third try, all fresh, older IM with very few eggs to transfer each time
Fourth GS ~ Fourth transfer ~ 1 fresh, 2 frozen (pregnant on 3rd frozen) (we did get pregnant on the third transfer but it was a B/O)

Transfer #1 - 1 3d embie (IM) - "ok" quality - failed
Transfer #2 - 1 3d embie (IM) - "good" quality - failed
Transfer #3 - 2 5d embies (ED) - both 4AA - achieved twin pregnancy, m/c Twin A @ 8wks - delivered one very healthy lil boy

2nd Journey
Transfer #1 - 2 5d FET (IM) - 3AB and a 4AB w/cell degeneration from the thaw - failed
Transfer #2 - 3 3d embies (IM) - I don't have grades on these but all were "good" - chemical
Transfer #3 - FET in 2 more days!!!! - 5d embies (ED) - 4AB and two 4AC - Outcome TBA

Surrogacy#1~ young donor eggs, only 2 made it to transfer, did an eSET w/a fresh transfer. Pg 1st transfer.
Surrogacy#2~ IM was my age...mid-30's. 1st transfer was a FET...BFN. 2nd transfer was fresh...BFN.
Surrogacy#3~ young ED, fresh transfer w/1 embie from each IF. BFP but lost a twin very early on.
Surrogacy#4~ same IF's as #3. FET ended in a B.O.
Surrogacy#5~ (technically still #4...just took a loooong time!) Same original ED, only 1yr older now. Fresh transfer...BFP w/twins.

Over all, my "success rate" of getting pg on the 1st transfer is 75% when looking at all 4 technical journey's. Only my 2nd IP's did I not have success with. Also, w/the 1st transfer of my 4th journey, I did acheive a pg w/that 1st transfer, it just wasn't a viable pg. We didn't consider this last transfer as our "2nd" transfer due to the large amt of time between transfers. Basically it was the same length of time between my last failed transfer w/my 2nd IP's and our successful transfer w/my 3rd IP's.

First transfer: 2 frozen embies. IM was 35. Failed
Second transfer: 3 frozen embies. Same IM. Chemical

New IP's:
First transfer: 2 fresh embies. 24 year old ED, proven. One embryo stuck around, 12 weeks preggo today!

I didn't get a "grade" on any of the embryo's.

Surrogacy Journey #1- transferred 2 5d fresh embryos- 1 "good" 1 "ok" from 32yr old (IM) resulted in a baby boy on first transfer.

Surrogacy Journey #2- transferred 3 3d fresh embryos- all "great" 8 celled from 29 year old (IM) resulted in girl/boy twins on first transfer.

1st time we transferred 2 fresh 5-day embies, (donor eggs- in her late 20s)- both stuck- I delivered twin girls!
2nd time we transferred 2 frozen, then PGD'd, embies from the same batch, but this time it did not result in a pregnancy and we did not try again.

Both surrogacies 1st try both times.

ED both times one was 25 another 27 one was proven another was unproven.

my first transfer was TS via IVF....i was 37y10m at retrieval. we transferred (fresh) 1 perfect embie, one slightly less ideal w/some fragmenting, and one "not so great". BFP 7dp3dt.

2nd transfer was GS, ED was 22 at retrieval. we transferred (fresh) 2 perfect embies...very faint ++ 7dp5dt (surro eyes definitely were needed), easy and obvious BFP 8dp5dt.
